- City offices are open to the public. A mask must be worn to enter the building. City offices will be closed October 12, 2020 for Columbus Day. Offices will reopen on October 13, 2020 at normal time.
Chapter 552 of the Texas Government Code gives you the right to access government records. The City Secretary serves as the City’s Public Information Officer. The Public Information Officer or that officer’s agent may not ask why you want government records. All government information is presumed to be available to the public; however, certain exceptions may apply. Governmental bodies shall promptly release requested information that is not confidential by law, either constitutional, statutory, or by judicial decision, or information for which an exception to disclosure has not been sought.
